About the Showhouse
With a goal of raising $200,000, the Designers' Showhouse is the largest fundraiser for the Junior League of High Point, Inc. We are excited to host the third Designers' Showhouse for the JLHP in the "Furniture Capital of the World."
The 2019 High Point Designers' Showhouse is the Dalton-Bell-Cameron house. Built in 1913, the house has survived two fires, and was slated for demolition. Believed to be the first example of the Craftsman style in High Point, the house at 1013 Johnson St. stands on the corner of Farriss Avenue and in the heart of the Johnson Street Historic District. Today, it is being rebuilt as a true testimony of forward thinking and the power of historic preservation.
This year, we are partnering with international media sponsor, ASPIRE DESIGN AND HOME. Visit their page to learn more about the showhouse's history and see updates about the progress of the Showhouse.
