JLHP Spring Designer Showhouse

Together, the Junior League of High Point (JLHP), Traditional Home Magazine, and the R.B. Terry Foundation are bringing a designer showhouse to High Point in conjunction with Spring High Point Furniture Market.

The 2015 Showhouse, a circa-1912 Tudor Revival home, will feature both local and national designers and will celebrate the theme “From High Point to the World.” Each designer will draw inspiration from the history of the Terry property and the furniture-rich history of High Point. The home’s transformation will create a modern, livable space in a historic home.

Showhouse proceeds will benefit the JLHP and its mission of promoting volunteerism, developing the potential of women, and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.

Opening night is April 17, 2015 with a Grand Opening Party. The house will remain open to the public Saturday, April 18 – Sunday, April 26 and will reopen Friday, May 1 – Sunday, May 3. Open house admission tickets will be sold for $25.00.

Stay tuned for the latest updates on the showhouse website (www.jlhpshowhouse.com), Facebook (www.facebook.com/JLHPShowhouse) and Instagram (@JLHPShowhouse).

The JLHP has also been a member of the Association of Junior Leagues International since 1952. The JLHP is the premier volunteer organization for women who are committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Over the years, JLHP women have initiated and championed a wide variety of projects which have served and improved the High Point community.
