JOIN US FOR OUR 7TH ANNUAL KIDS IN THE KITCHEN!

On Saturday, March 10, 2012, from 10:00-12:00, High Point children will proudly earn their chef hats and participate in exciting, hands-on activities focusing on promoting nutrition and preventing childhood obesity through Kids in the Kitchen. This will be the JLHP’s seventh year of participating in The Association of Junior Leagues International Inc.’s education initiative on childhood obesity and nutrition, which included more than 230 Leagues nationwide. The event will be held at the Millis Regional Health Education Center and is targeted at children in kindergarten through fifth grades. With the focus on raising awareness and helping to reverse the growth of childhood obesity and its associated health issues.
